SIM'S
MARINERS QUILT
The client requested stipple in the
background, but I thought that might be a bit boring. The way she
had pieced it enabled me to divide the background into a border
which with variegated thread, extended the lines through her crazy
patchwork border to give the dark colour a bit of a lift & the
direct background I quilted with my circle lord in a pattern I
thought the mariners might see in the night sky.
Had it been
my quilt the stars would have been put in with metallic thread to
make them twinkle, but alas I must stay within the guidelines of
my clients. (most times)

ANNE'S QUILT
The
client provided flat colours of poly/cotton homespun and wanted it
quilted with variegated thread. I did separate borders and cross
hatched with my channel locks behind the feathers. The middle of the
quilt was quilted with a pantograph/ continuos pattern |

| HELEN'S
QUILT
This quilt had a pantograph from edge to edge
because the fabric spoke for its self. |

LIBBY'S REDWORK
This is a cot quilt that she didn't want
heavily quilted. I put stars and hearts in the border and tight
stipple around block at customer's request. |

GLORIA'S QUILT
Gloria's BOM was custom quilted

DELORES'S QUILT
Delores's quilt was called jewel, so I
chose to quilt it with cream on cream and let the fabric speak
for itself. It has cotton batting and that produces not much loft
in the quilting.

LISA'S TEDDY QUILT
Background filler was done with variegated
thread and the circles were done with the circle lord and feather
fillers between.
