OLD WORLD REVISITED |

KEV'S QUILTS
Kev's Quilts were brought to me to be finished
as his wife had passed away after battling cancer. There were
quilts for her Mother, Sister and Best Friend all with a lovely
saying embroidered around the edge of the quilt. Everyday I worked
on them I cried to think this dear, lovely lady had gone to heaven.
How lucky were her friends and family to be blessed by having had her
for the time they did.

CRUISER CLUB OF SYDNEY
Being a member of the Chrysler PT Cruiser Club of Sydney, I was
asked to help with a display which depicted a group of PT Cruisers
at a Drive-in Movie. This is the resulting quilted movie screen
which was used for a photo shoot for the club. |

MY BROTHER TONY
Tony has a Brain Tumour and isn't very well. The lovely members of
my Yahoo Machine Quilters List all donated blocks to make this quilt
for him. Lorraine put it all together and we then quilted it. He was very thankful to receive such a wonderful gift. |

RIP Anthony Fitz-Patrick |
|
Sadly, Tony lost his battle for life on the afternoon of 24/02/2010.
He was just about a month shy of his 60th Birthday. This
coincidentally is also the anniversary of his father's death in 1992.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Being such a
huge part of their lives he will leave a gap that cannot be easily
filled. He would however prefer us to celebrate the Tony we'd had
rather than mourn the Tony we've lost. Easier said than done.... |
